Can you write in Scots?
Representing spoken Scots in a written form is a skill which Scots speakers may not always learn, but many do.
Some people write in a way that is intended for all Scots speakers to understand no matter which Scots dialect they speak. Some people write in a way that strongly represents the unique features of a particular dialect. Some people create their own unique way of writing Scots drawn from their writing skills from writing in English or other languages.
